“ I’d like to start off by saying that anyone who rates this lower than a 5 is crazy! This place is absolutely by far the best BBQ I have ever ate. My husband and I both enjoyed everything we got. Ribs are fall off the bone. Brisket is tender and juicy. Smoked meatloaf is unlike anything I’ve had. Smoked wings are better than most wing restaurants. Side dishes are just as out of this world as the main dishes. They also do homemade sauces, so with that said their jalapeno ranch is amazing! Our server (Grace) was the absolute sweetest and I’m sure that the rest of the staff are just as sweet! All in all this place is worth the drive if you live far! ”

“ Enjoyed our visit. Server was friendly and professional. The place is loaded with random relics of the past. I wanted to try several things on the menu so I’ll have to go back although it’s way off the beaten path for me. We had the pulled pork barbecue plate which came with two sides. Price was about 12.50 and it was generous portions. We also had the Prime Rib sandwich with one side for around 10.50. The sandwich was a bit smaller than I had hoped but it’s prime rib. It was tender and served with Au jus which was good but unneeded. I want to try the Uncle Gus Burger (8.99) and the 10 count smoked wings for 10.99. If you find yourself in Ten Mile TN or Meigs County area it’s very much worth the stop. Please hit the like! ”
“ I love eating at Uncle Gus's BBQ. Every year when I visit Tennessee, I make Uncle Gus's one of my go-to visits! The atmosphere is incredible, with all the antique and vintage relics hanging from the walls and ceiling. I enjoy looking at all that history. The people are very friendly, the staff are amazing! Our waitress was very kind and friendly! The food is amazing! I got the 2 meat dinner with ribs and brisket. Comes with 2 sides of your choice plus a roll. The portions are generous. My wife got the smoked chicken salad and it was delicious! If you're in Ten Mile, Tennessee, you absolutely have to try this place! ”

“ What more can I say except this is our go to spot when neither of us want to cook. No matter what you get, you will not leave here hungry. My favorites are the meatloaf and sloppy chicken sandwich. Hubby loves the prime rib sandwich, any of their burgers and steak dinner. Their fries and homemade chips are fantastic but I upgrade to the baked potato-literally the best around. If you love county fried steak make sure you are ready to eat cause it fills the entire plate-you won't be disappointed. ”
“ Tasty little BBQ hole in the wall- the best kind! Very eclectically decorated building. Large selection of smoked dishes. I had a smoked pulled pork plate. Lots of food, and quite reasonable prices. Only complaint was it seemed overly greasy somehow?My colleagues had the prime rib sandwiches; which they gave high marks as well. Definitely recommend if you're in the area! ”
“ Over this past weekend we ordered over 700 worth of food to feed 130 people for our family reunion. Every single person said this was the best barbecue they had had in a long time and better than the barbecue place we had been getting for the past five years. Everything was fresh and hot and tasted amazing! Everyone at Uncle Gus’s was so nice and helpful including the people taking my order considering I live two hours away. They were very patient with me. Plus the people who helped get our order to the truck in the pouring rain never once complained. It was a wonderful experience and I hope we get the chance to use Uncle Gus’ again! ”
